Getting Started

I've just joined because an awesome friend made this place sound brilliant. I'm a disabled bird with chronic illness and I just completed the life long goal of getting a Literature and Creative writing degree with the Open Uni. I nearly died getting it, twice. But, after 6 years of hard graft and pain, I did it! (with a huge amount of support and patience from my friends)
2019 is the year of WRITE ALL THE THINGS, and this place seems the spot to hang out with other writing bods who want to be productive and finishers!
I have a sci-fi novel underway courtesy of the degree, and I want to get into the short story habit again while not killing myself :D Those will be in whatever genre I fancy.
